Information brochure for moving in

When you move in, you will have received an information brochure about moving into your dormitory from the dormitory management. Additionally to your contract and the dormitory rules, this brochure contains the most important regulations and guidelines surrounding your dormitory. If you have any questions regarding rules or guidelines, your dormitory manager will be happy to help you.

The Dormitory Management – your first contact person

Your general contact person within your dormitory is always your dormitory manager. He/she is your direct connection to the foundation in your dormitory.

We would like to point out an important difference between Dormitory Management and Dormitory Representation as there have often been mix ups in the past; they are not the same thing!

The Dormitory Management/manager works directly for the Österreichische Studentenförderungsstiftung.

The Dormitory Representation, especially the dormitory representative (also known as the ‘Heimsprecher(in)’ or dormitory speaker) has been chosen by the dormitory’s residents during the annual dormitory assembly to represent the interests of the residents to the foundation.
