Need some inspiration? We’re sharing our favorite places to study in Innsbruck.

A classic choice: the Uni Café

Just a short walk from the University of Innsbruck, you'll find the Uni Café - the perfect place to get comfortable and fully focus on your studies. If you'd like to soak up some vitamin D while studying, the rooftop terrace is the place to be. Thanks to its close proximity to the University, the café is especially busy during the semester. If you don't mind a lively atmosphere, this is the perfect spot for you. During study breaks, the Uni Café offers everything you could with for - from wraps and sandwiches to burritos, with a daily changing menu. Our tip: the Burgers are particularly worth trying and can be customized exactly to your taste. A top study café in Innsbruck!

From bread with homemade spreads and hearty omelettes to sweet desserts, you’ll find plenty of brain food to keep you going. Free Wi-Fi is included, making it a great place to study or work. Marktbar am Inn

The Marktbar am Inn stands out with its particularly stylish interior. In summer, however, you should definitely try to grab a seat outdoors - here you can study right by the river Inn, with a fresh breeze keeping temperatures pleasantly cool. This study spot in Innsbruck also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the lively Marktplatz, so boredom is definitely not an issue. The food and drink selection is just as appealing. Need a hearty breakfast to get into study mode? You’ve come to the right place. Marktbar serves all-day breakfast, homemade cakes, and a variety of other snacks made from regional and seasonal ingredients. Café-Bar Moustache

The beard in the logo gives it away: Café-Bar Moustache is a paradise for hipsters. But everyone else feels right at home in this cozy, vintage-style café as well. The café-bar is especially popular with students, yet during the daytime it’s often pleasantly quiet - making it a perfect place to study in Innsbruck. Tucked away near Dom St. Jakob, the café also offers a sunny outdoor seating area at Domplatz for those who like to soak up the sun. Whether you’re feeling a little hungry or seriously starving, you’ll find affordable yet delicious food here. Highly recommended are the crispy falafel dishes - arguably the best in town. And if you’re in the mood for an after-work drink, you’ll find plenty of options here too.
